BCA Meet Up - JHB #3

Nathan York, from York Bros Construction, will be sharing details of their recently completed Rosebank Mall hybrid energy project. They’ll share the processes, shortcomings and insights gained from the project. And also how the important decision to use BIM allowed them to deliver a solution that combines a 1.3MW solar PV installation, a lithium-ion battery bank, and bi-fuel generators - enabling real-time 3D project visibility, seamless collaboration, and early clash detection that saved nearly R1 million in variation orders. Warrick Harvey, from Modena AEC, will give insight to the tools used in support of the project delivery.

It will be an informal presentation with opportunity to ask questions, learn and provoke interesting conversations.
